About our School
Sitting Bull School will be having a name change in 2016. The new name will be Little Eagle Grant School. The name was changed after much discussion within the community of Little Eagle, South Dakota.
Most of the history of the school has been documented in a book, which we have embedded, in part, here in this section. The picture on the left is the Little Eagle Day School around 1975.
The book is the most complete documentation we have been able to use for our website. It was put together in 1975 by Little Eagle Community History and Development's director/author , Adele F. Little Dog. Plese take time to read though the entire book provided through the link below:
